Kicking away cancer

A group of educators, specifically Mrs. Jessica Miliffe, Mrs. Melissa Becerra and Mrs. Krisynda Cicos, along with this school year’s junior class president, Victoria Molina came up with and put together a school kickball game in order to raise more money for sophomore Sophia Hurtado as well as interest the students with a fun sports game for a good cause. Making it in the sun: MICSUN

While Model United Nations is known for travelling across the country, they compete in local competitions as well. One of which took place April 12-14 at the University of Miami (UM). UM hoped that the conference taught students how to raise awareness on international issues and affairs through their 10 different committees. Keep Reading

Reaching states one act at a time

Thespians took center stage at District 7’s competition, sweeping up seven Critics’ Choice awards and four honorable mentions. The one act play “Songs for a New World” also made its way to states March 20 after winning best play at districts. Keep Reading
