COVID-19 stalls spring recruiting process

After Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced schools would continue distance learning for the rest of this school year, the FHSAA (Florida Highschool Athletic Association) made the decision to officially cancel the 2020 Spring Sports season Monday, April 20. Among all the other consequences resulting from the COVID-19 outbreak, the high school recruitment process is negatively affected as sports shut down this spring. Keep Reading

Give admits more time to decide

Typically, admitted students will visit campus with their families or attend “admitted student days” on the physical campus while getting to know current students and other admits. However, considering the current coronavirus pandemic has temporarily shut down most college campuses, this is no longer an option, leaving many students to make their decisions on where to spend the next four years of their lives based off of virtual tours and student Youtube videos.
