As a third year staffer, senior Alex Becker acts as the Patriot Post’s sports editor, while also managing the athletic department’s twitter account. Alex also serves as the sports editor for the yearbook and the president of Future Business Leaders of America. Outside of journalism, Alex can be seen eating, watching Netflix and fixing his fantasy football roster.

Patriots score a second straight state championship

The Patriots soccer team has reclaimed its title of state champions again this season after defeating the Seabreeze Sandcrabs 3-0 in the FHSAA Class 3A State Championship. The win comes the day after the team’s counterpart Lady Patriots were crowned state champs, making it the first time both teams won together since 2005. Keep Reading


Lady Patriots defeat Jaguars to win district championship

After 90 minutes of play and one goal scored, the Lady Patriots soccer team will move on to the FHSAA Class 3A State Tournament to try to win its eleventh state championship. The Lady Patriots defeated the Pines Charter Jaguars 1-0 at home Friday to win the district championship, after previously dominating the Coconut Creek Cougars 9-0 on Wednesday. Keep Reading
