Living the new normal: the fallout of sports amid COVID-19

While the Coronavirus pandemic has certainly led to a change-of-pace to everyone’s normal routines, it has also meant a pause (at the very least) to all sports, from the professional to the high school level. Varsity girls lacrosse blow away Golden Tornadoes, move to 7-2

Looking for their sixth consecutive win, the varsity girls lacrosse team (6-2) hosted the winless Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes (0-6) Friday, March 13 on a modified senior recognition night.  Throughout the night, the lady Patriots held the Golden Tornadoes in check, walking away with the victory 20-6. The win moved the team to 7-2 on the year, marking their best start in almost five years.
