If you’re like me, finding the perfect anime to watch is nothing but challenging. With varying interests in entertainment, it can be hard to find that one binge-worthy anime that will keep you biting your nails through every scene. In this list of anime, I have provided some of my favorite anime that you should definitely binge ASAP.

“Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure” (Action/Adventure)

“Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure” one of the most outstanding and bizarre anime I have ever seen, sits at the top of my list because of its interesting and entertaining plot. The series depicts the story of Jonathan “Jojo” Joestar and his Joestar family. Jojo develops a rivalry with his adopted brother Dio, who has transformed into a vampire due to a cursed mask. As Dio transition into a vampire, Jojo learns a fighting tactic called ripple to defeat the vampires. Each season of “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure” starts with a new generation  after Jojo and Dio, ensuring that the story remains new but not completely foreign. “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure” remains one of the best animes if you’re in an adventurous mood––or any mood.

“Hunter x Hunter” (Action)

If you love action-packed anime, look no further than “Hunter x Hunter.” Based on the similarly named manga, Hunter x Hunter”  features Gon Freecss, a boy who dreams of becoming a hunter and finding his supposedly dead father. These goals lead him to take the nearly impossible Hunter Exam, where he meets three other contenders: Kurapika, Leorio and Killua. This friendship ensures that Gon triumph over all other obstacles that arise from his Hunter career. If you like to grip the edge of your seat after every episode, you should definitely check out “Hunter x Hunter.”

“From Me to You” (Kimi ni Todoke) (Romance)

If action and adventure doesn’t interest you or if you simply want to watch a fluffy romance, you should check out “Kimi ni Todoke.” The anime begins with a sweet girl named Sawako Kuronuma, whose classmates constantly make fun of her because her appearance resembles the iconic girl from “The Ring” (a supernatural horror film based on the novel by Koji Suzuki). However, when she begins to develop a friendship with popular Kazehaya, Sawako’s life changes to one in which she has friends. Following the cliched stereotype, the two fall in love and learn to defeat the many challenges in their lives.
