Due to Lower School’s annual “TasteFest” in the cafeteria Thursday, Nov. 16, there will be a food truck festival during Upper School lunch. While elementary students munch on turkey, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie and other Thanksgiving treats, Upper School students will have the option to buy lunch from any of six trucks.

The trucks include a variety of cuisines and treats. Aloha Chef will be serving up a variety of Hawaiian dishes, including Poke bowls, shaved ice and teriyaki; BC Tacos is a gourmet taco truck with a speciality fried avocado topping; Caesar’s Famous Ribs will have barbecue chicken and ribs; Churrisimo is a dessert truck that serves a variety of churros and popsicles.

Cheeseburger Baby and Yummy Frozen treats, which were on campus for the homecoming powderpuff game earlier this year, will make a return with their burgers, sandwiches and fries. and ice cream, milkshakes and sundaes, respectively.

The trucks will be located on the basketball courts near the 3000 building. They do not accept payment by school ID, so students should plan to bring $10 to $15 cash if they plan on buying food.

The normal cafeteria lunches will still be sold along the back canal, and will accept payment via school ID.
