Heritage opened its doors to the public once again.  Over 800 people attended the Open House January 28 at 1:00 p.m.

Fine Arts students showcased their skills before the presentation. Families filed into the theatre while the band played familiar tunes, such as “ABC” outside of the Fine arts building. Orchestra students played violins in the theatre lobby. As the families were seated, A capella singers sang several songs such as Frozen’s “Let It Go” on stage.

The presentation began with an introductory video produced by WAHS, and a formal introduction of the administration staff followed. Following the presentation, families were sorted into groups and taken on a tour of the school led by student ambassadors and teachers.

“The school sets a high standard for other schools. I wouldn’t change anything. The school is perfect,” said Maria Gonzalez, mother of a prospective student.

The Open House concluded with cookies and fruit punch.
