Log on to Crash Course and blogger Hank Green (brother of widely-acclaimed novelist, John Green) will explain it to you with fun and accurate animations. In fact, Crash Course can help you with a number of different subjects, ranging from Literature to Psychology.

Are you having trouble grasping that Calculus concept and your exam is tomorrow? Go to Khan Academy and learn anything from Algebra to Astrology in brief, 10 minute videos. Do you really want to impress your history teacher by going above and beyond? Try Extra Credits: Extra History. Or if you just need some helpful tips on how to study and retain information, watch a few Thomas Frank videos for note taking tips, stationery recommendations and college application help.

According to a study conducted by Pearson, at least 65 percent of the population seem to be visual learners. If you happen to be part of that 65 percent, watching educational videos may help you retain valuable information better than copying down notes.
