While most superstitious people were looking out for black cats and broken mirrors Friday, April 13th, competitors at the FHSAA Class 2A-15 Track and Field Meet were looking out for Patriot runners. The Patriots dominated the district meet, qualifying to the regional meet in over 20 events. Qualifiers and their places are listed below:
Individual
Asia McMillon: 1st in 300m hurdles, 2nd in 100m hurdles
Sherri Ann Norton: 1st in 100m dash, 3rd in 200m dash
Morgan Rhett: 2nd in 100m dash, 2nd in 200m dash
Myrka Cadet: 3rd in 100m dash, 1st in 200m dash
Danielle Bess: 1st in 400m dash
Kenya Thompson: 2nd in 400m dash
Nick Baran: 4th in 110m hurdles
Dyllon Lester: 2nd in high jump
Anthony Schwartz: 1st in 100m dash, 1st in 200m dash
Tyson Campbell: 3rd in 100m dash, 200m dash
Monte Parker: 2nd 400m dash
Isaiah Petit-Jeune: 3rd 400m dash
