Fresh off of the “Wicked: For Good” set, Ariana Grande announced tour dates for her most recent album, “Eternal Sunshine.” She will visit the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise June 30 and July 2. Her last tour, the “Sweetener” world tour, concluded in 2019, although she released an album, “Positions,” in 2020.
“I was so excited when I saw the announcement for her tour, especially because it’s been so long since the last one,” sophomore Roshni Nair said.
Following her six-year hiatus during which she was prioritizing her acting career, Grande stated she will be traveling through the United States and the United Kingdom on her tour. She will be visiting arenas in major cities rather than stadiums, despite her audience of over 100 million on Spotify alone. For example, in Los Angeles, she is playing at the Crypto.com Arena with a capacity of 20,000 rather than the SoFi Stadium with a capacity of 70,000.
Her tour only spans 10 cities, suggesting that more cities will be added with time according to Variety; she has added performances due to high demand in the middle of tours in the past.
Grande announced her tour last month, and tickets will be available for preorder Tuesday. In order to be eligible for the presale, fans must have already registered. They will officially be available to buy Wednesday.
