Three quali-tea beverages that get you through the day

Standing at the front of the line staring at rows and rows of drinks can be stressful. After a year of online school, this was my first time at the Heritage campus, and by the end of the first semester, I was just as unsure as I was at the start. To put an end to the choice paralysis, I set a goal to find the best drinks the campus has to offer. And after trying most of the drinks offered on campus, I’m happy to say that I think I’ve found them.

With the amount of sleep deprivation on campus,  the Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino is a student staple. On any regular day, you can find many students with the drink in hand. It is offered in almost all areas including the snack bar, cafeteria and kiosks. The drink is slightly creamier than an actual Frappuccino as it does not have  ice, but the flavor is no different from the Starbucks specialty. Not only is it the perfect mixture of milk, caffeine and sugar, it also doubles as an energizer to keep you awake and ready throughout the day. (Photo/Shreya Shanmugam)
Arizona drinks can be found on almost all campus locations. Although there are many flavors, raspberry is my personal favorite. It reminds you of tanning on the beach, soaking in the sun. If you enjoy smooth drinks with a fruity twist, this is the one for you. (Photo/Shreya Shanmugam)
While it may be the colorful design which draws you in, the drink itself does not  disappoint. The green tea with ginseng and honey has a unique flavor profile that may come off as strong to some, but, personally, is one of my favorites. The drink is sweet with the honey, but it isn’t too overpowering as the slightly earthy and bitter ginseng still stands out. The additional flavors work well with the green tea and the drink includes enough caffeine to double as a pick-me-up. (Photo/Shreya Shanmugam)

Shreya is a senior here at American Heritage. Apart from Newspaper, she participates in clubs and extracurriculars such as Key Club, Model UN, YIS, HOSA, PBS and AASA. She loves writing, listening to music, watching TV shows and editing videos. She has been dancing for almost all her life and has a love for business and computer science. She plans on channeling these interests into her future career and exploring them further throughout high school. When she am not reading or rewatching Netflix shows, she is riding her bike or swimming in the pool.
