Summer break is nearly over and students are preparing to return to school. Even so, there are many fun activities newly available to give your summer an impactful ending.
Universal Epic Universe
Universal Orlando opened its new Epic Universe May 22, 2025. It features more than 50 attractions in five different areas. These five areas are Super Nintendo World, an area themed around Nintendo characters; Dark Universe, which is themed around Universal’s monsters; the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, a How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk and Celestial Park.
Legoland’s SEA LIFE Florida Aquarium
Legoland Florida opened a new SEA LIFE aquarium just a day after Epic Universe did. The attraction contains 25 interactive exhibits and includes over 3,000 animals with a total of 150 species. It has a “Theme Park Under the Sea” theme incorporated into its exhibits unlike any other SEA LIFE aquarium.
Tigertail Lake Recreational Center
Tigertail Lake Recreational Center at Dania Beach offers a variety of activities, including canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing and wind surfing. In addition, they offer obstacle courses and various trips. Their obstacle courses include the Aerial Challenge, a ropes course, and the Aqua Challenge, an obstacle course on the water.
