Science Olympiad competes in the Yellow Jacket Invitational at Georgia Tech

The Science Olympiad Team departed for Georgia Tech Jan. 30. There, the seventh grade through freshman year team and the sophomore through senior year team competed in over 25 different events. In groups of two or three, students took tests, set up mechanisms and built models in an attempt to show what they knew. Oscar nominations for 2025 are revealed

Nominations for the 97th Academy Awards were announced Thursday, Jan. 23, and the winners will be announced March 2, and for movie productions such as “Emilia Perez” and “Wicked,” the news was great to hear. “Emilia Perez” stole the show with a whopping 13 nominations, setting a new record for a non-English-language film.
