The iPatriot Post held its first spring photography contest March 8-April 11. Novice, intermediate and expert artists were encouraged to participate in this event. There were two categories individuals could enter in: student life and nature photography.
The nature category proved to be the main choice for competitors, obtaining the most entries. These images were judged based on overall visual appeal in relation to the theme of spring.
Entries were voted on by the iPatriot Post staff in order to determine two overall winners. Both sophomore Felix Olmo and freshman Corey Harrison will be receiving $15 gift cards for their respective first and second place wins in the nature photography contest.
Below are our winners’ submissions as decided by staffers and editors. Congratulations to both of these students.
