NHD Districts sees nine students advance to states
After submitting their projects to the school fair in January, junior high and high school students brought their National History Day (NHD) projects to the district level Friday, Feb. 21. Sprinting for the Salah Foundation
As quoted by author Andrea Randall, “Heroes don't always wear capes,” but in the case of this year’s annual superhero-themed Pre-med “5K for a Better Day,” this may not have been the case. About 350 runners (students with their families and friends), came out Saturday, Feb. 15 to participate in a 5K to benefit the Pediatric Oncology unit at Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital at Broward Health. NAIMUN: The Superbowl of MUN
The North American Invitational Model United Nations (NAIMUN) hosted its fifty-seventh conference at Georgetown. Leaving the competition Feb. 13, Heritage MUN achieved the top 7 rankings overall and won 24 individual awards. Mock Trial team places second at county competition
A gathering of the top twelve teams in Broward, Mock Trial County was held Friday, Feb. 7. The AHS team traveled to the Broward County Courthouse in Fort Lauderdale with 12 students, six for prosecution and six for defense. Keep Reading
