While Model United Nations is known for travelling across the country, they compete in local competitions as well. One of which took place April 12-14 at the University of Miami (UM). Thespians took center stage at District 7’s competition, sweeping up seven Critics’ Choice awards and four honorable mentions. The one act play “Songs for a New World” also made its way to states March 20 after winning best play at districts. Keep Reading
Students attended the annual Florida Scholastic Press Association (FSPA) state convention at the Wyndham Orlando Resort April 11-13. The entire convention embodied their 2019 theme of “Electrify,” which came to life when student district representatives came together earlier in March to help coordinate the convention. Keep Reading
