NBA veteran Raja Bell becomes newest Patriot

In wake of the disappointing district semifinal loss to Hallandale and an 11-11 record last season, the varsity boys basketball team will be working toward the title under new head coach, NBA veteran Raja Bell. Bell, who grew up in Miami and has garnered 13 years worth of experience in the NBA, will take over for former head coach, Fred Battle, to lead the Patriots next fall. Keep Reading

Built to win: Heritage’s long-lasting tradition

At this point in the school year, Heritage has once again succeeded in establishing itself as a dominant force in high school athletics, no matter the sport. Though the varsity football team fell short of winning another championship, Heritage showcased its winning culture as the girls and boys varsity soccer teams, the girls varsity basketball team and the girls golf team all earned state titles. Leaving Hart and soul on the mat

Though some siblings may not share the same interests or passion for similar activities, brothers Joshua and Zev Hartman share a relationship strengthened by their common love for wrestling. However, the brothers have been unable to wrestle alongside one another recently, as Joshua suffered a shoulder injury earlier in the year that ended his season. Despite the setback of not having his brother wrestling next to him, Zev has continued to direct his attention towards perfecting one of his greatest passions and wrestling his way to the top of the leaderboards.
