After kicking off the season with a win, the team held its home opener against Cypress Bay High School Nov. 20. Following an early goal from senior Sebastian Vidarte, the team ultimately took a 3-1 loss. The Heritage Patriots rolled past the No. 1 seed Rockledge Raiders 31-14, to advance to the Regional Finals. Although an 11 point-underdog, the Patriots upset the Raiders in part to an explosive run game and stingy defense. Keep Reading
