The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Miami will host its annual “Live at Knight” entertainment series at the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall—a large 1200 seat theater—for the next several months of the new year.
The series lasts for multiple months, this year running until late April. It includes selections of many famous artists and genres, from pop to jazz and orchestra concerts, and even live screenings of some cult-favorite movies.
The arts center is celebrated by locals for attracting large musical and theatrical acts from across the world each year. It hosts around 400 performances annually, attracting more than 450,000 people to downtown Miami. It is one of the largest performing arts centers in the country, according to an article by the Arts Management Magazine.
This year, the center did not disappoint with its “Live at Knight” series, featuring acts such as LeAnn Rimes, Chris Botti, Mavis Staples, Andres Cepeda, Julieta Venegas, Gianmarco & Diego Torres and Jose Luis Rodriguez.
For fans of more classical music genres, the Arsht Center is the place to be at this time of year. The series will close April 27 with a Latin Jazz performance by Andres Cepeda.
