Humans of Heritage

Published on August 20, 2014 in Multimedia/Photos by iPatriotPost
"It's tough being 5-foot-3."
"AP Biology is fun until you fail."
"I had a pop quiz in Spanish today. Pop quizzes suck. First off, they're a waste of time. We have other classes to stress about, and APs. I would rather watch Master Chef on Netflix, which they locked at this school. I do my work and study, I just don't do pop quizzes."
"Will pay to be pushed down the stairs."
"I loved Senior Citizen Day because I feel like I was born to be a Grandpa. Patterned cardigans are a must for me, I give great advice, I hate loud noises, I talk to the TV and I'm convinced the government is behind everything. Oh, and I'm a sucker for a good orthopedic shoe."
"After 14 years at AHS I have always been looking up to senior year and waiting for the festivities that come with it. I can't believe I am finally that senior people dream to be and I can't wait to spend prom night with one of my best friends!"
"It's called a dress up day, not a dress down day."
"Our teacher went missing, so we've been trying to find her." "We found her, though. She's over there!"
"In India I worked with this organization that took care of animals at the animal shelter and visited homeless shelters. One day, I was riding my bike around town buying out all these guys' biscuits and just throwing them to stray dogs. Then I found a dog that was injured in a car accident which led me to that organization."
"I actually had an anxiety attack over NHD. I was sure that I was going to get a D because I did it the night before, but I got a C which was great."
"Being the daughter of Mrs. Joykutty, people are always asking me to talk to her for them or steal tests for them. They ask me ridiculous stuff like that all the time."
"When I got my permit, the DMV messed up my registration. So for the brief period of two days, I owned about 40 acres of land up in Jacksonville. They totally messed up the transaction so it was in my name."
"I was chased by a chicken once. That was pretty traumatic. I went to my Abuela's house and for some reason, she had a chicken in her house. She just found it somewhere and it was her pet chicken. It chased me and I ran and cried and climbed over a fence, and it flew over the fence. I still hate chickens."
"I had a birthday."

"One time I thought Tanvi was going to move to Texas because of her dad's job, and I got really sad because I thought I wouldn't see her again. I was looking up flights to Texas and seeing how much it would cost to go visit her a couple times a quarter."
