Junior high students swapped their usual morning schedules for an hour of conversing with the Coast Guard, asking questions of attorneys and discussing the field of medicine with doctors. The Career Fair, held last Thursday in the gym/cafeteria during first and second period, enabled students to meet with adults in various professions and learn about the myriad of career choices available to them. Students asked questions, took notes and collected materials and handouts. An obstetrician, a doctor of equestrian medicine, a radiologist, police officers and football coaches were among the careers represented at this year’s event.
