High school is where students make life-long friends, find their passions and make memories. With senior class rings, students can remember their high school experience even when they are 40 years old.
Today during first hour, juniors gathered in the theatre to receive their senior class rings. Back in October, juniors had an assembly introducing them to the Jostens program and the process of ordering the rings. Jostens representatives visited campus multiple times to show students samples of stones and to provide information about styling options.
During the ceremony, junior class president Maria Ayala called all 78 participating students on stage one-by-one to receive their ring. “The ring ceremony is a symbol of transition. It is a chance to look back and to reflect on their high school experience,” said high school principal Mrs. Elise Blum, “Your rings are all beautiful just like each of you.”
After the ring ceremony ended, students and parents enjoyed a catered continental breakfast from TooJays Deli.
