“Evacuate zone two immediately,” the announcements call box rang, causing a   commotion during senior high lunch March 12. Hundreds of students flooded onto the back field, pouring out of buildings and rushing from their lunch tables.

Confused at the situation, students and faculty waited for news for about ten minutes. At 1:32 p.m., another announcement came through the loudspeakers, this time informing everyone to head to class as the situation was now resolved.

The cause of the evacuation was an outlet spark in a first grade classroom, and in an abundance of caution, everyone in the 2000 to 4000 buildings was cleared out.
