Bringing back the black and gold

Students and faculty showed their school spirit by sporting school colors, black and gold on “Battleship Black and Gold Day.” Dressed in gold and black tops, pants, shorts, overalls, and leggings, Patriots accessorized with war paint, bandanas, headbands, shoes, gold jewelry, beads, and even a few tutus.

A pep rally was held  in the theater during fourth hour for the juniors and seniors and  another one during fifth hour for the freshmen and sophomores. Junior high had their turn ninth hour.  The pep rallies featured performances from the band and the dance team. The music was loud as students sang along.Students will continue to show their support at the homecoming football game against Hallandale High School tonight at 7:30 p.m.
