The Patriot’s boys golf team kicked off the season with a victory and a fifth place finish following their win in the 20th annual American Heritage Boys Golf Invitational held at Lago Mar Country Club this past Monday. For most competitive athletes, the off-season is anything but a time to take a complete break from their preparation for the upcoming year. While rest is important, athletes will resume their preparation at some point in the off-season. Racing to the finish line, 20 track and field students made their way to The University of North Florida Jacksonville, FLA for the FSHAA Outdoor State Finals held May 3-4. After continuous training, the girls team finished third out of 45 teams and the boy’s team finished eleventh out of 52. Keep Reading
