Patriot four-star linebacker junior Marvin Jones Jr. committed to the 2022 All-American Bowl this past Tuesday, July 14, via Twitter, where he will join teammate sophomore defensive back Earl Little Jr., who announced his commitment to the bowl in May.

The event selects a total of 100 senior athletes throughout the country to showcase their talent in a star-studded game.

“It meant a lot to receive the invite because it showed me that my hard work was not going unnoticed,” Jones Jr. said. “It’s a booster to know that I’m referred to as a top 100 player in the nation.”

Throughout its history, the All-American Bowl has featured a total of 450 draft picks, 66 Super Bowl champions, 160 Pro Bowl selections and 17 Heisman finalists.

“It will mean a lot to play in the game because it will be cool to know I’m lined up with and against the best players in the country,” Jones Jr. said.

The 2022 All-American Bowl is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Saturday, Jan. 8 2022 and will be nationally televised on NBC.
