After a three year pandemic-related hiatus, the Spring Fling is back. Lower and upper school fine arts students were given the chance to display their artistic abilities on a stage, art display or performance, Saturday, March 4. Acapella singers opened up the festival, followed by performers of all ages performing in five different locations. The hallways of the 3000 building were also decorated with artwork from students ranging from kindergarten to seniors. 

Additionally, clubs were given an opportunity to fundraise and perform activities to promote their clubs. Raffles were held for parents with baskets. Additional prizes including “Lunch with Principal” or “Publix Apron Cooking Classes.” On the soccer field, there were a variety of fair rides and bounce houses for the elementary students to enjoy with their friends. Snow cones and candy were sold as well.

“It was a lot of hard work, but the faculty, staff and students’ hard work paid off!  In spite of the huge crowd, the day seemed to flow beautifully,” Fine Arts Director Mr. Johnpaul Moccia said in his final address as Festival Coordinator. “I am so blessed to have a great team and am sure that next year we will produce an even better FLING!” At 3 p.m., the raffle winners were drawn and the fair officially shut down, marking the end of another successful Fine Arts Spring Fling.
