Outside of the Student Center, students ranging from seventh to 11th grade lined up to buy ice cream from a Moop food truck during the Heritage Move “Night” after school Thursday, the last day of the year. Once inside, they sat down to watch Disney’s “Brave” and eat their treats among friends.
While some enjoyed the ice cream or the movie the most, other students most loved the opportunity they had to spend time with their friends. Junior Cruz Albert’s favorite part of the event was mimicking the Scottish accents of the “Brave” characters with her friend, junior Arisa Porter. Meanwhile, sophomore Brienne Crevecoeur and her friends “were laughing and joking really loud,” she said.
“It’s a very nice way for a lot of friends … to connect,” Crevecoeur said.
