Alumni panel discusses college life with seniors

in News by

Seniors were invited to attend panels with numerous AHS alumni during their English classes Thursday, Mar. 16. The former students were asked to comment on various aspects of college life such as staying organized, making friends, participating in new activities on campus and preparing for life after graduation by finding internships and building resumes.

The participants represented a number of universities such as Northwestern University,  George Washington University, Purdue University and the University of Miami.

The guidance department coordinated each panel of ten and asked questions throughout to prompt the participants. Towards the end of each session, seniors were allowed to ask the alumni questions.

Afterwards, many of the alumni visited their favorite teachers to catch up and see how the school has changed.
