Patriots football dominates, continues 4-0 winning streak

Despite the damp weather conditions, there was no stopping the Patriot football team from bringing home another win. After pulverizing the Glades Central Raiders Sept. 9, the final score stood at 56-0. 

The game was destined to go the Patriots’ way since they won the coin toss. Following that, the team scored four touchdowns in the first quarter, two in the second quarter and two more in the second half.

Heritage continues its undefeated season having bested Lake Gibson, Lownes, Los Alamitos and now Glades Central. Next week, they will face off against Chaminade-Madonna. (Photos/Emma Delgado)

As a junior, this is Emma’s second year in the Patriot Post and she’s excited to be the Assistant Online Editor this year. Outside of newspaper, she’s involved in and has office positions in Science Research, Key Club, FBLA, Model UN, and other clubs, including honor societies and her own nonprofit. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching dramas on Netflix, listening to Taylor Swift, and hanging out with friends. She’s very excited to work on the Patriot Post this year!
