Science Olympiad wins big in the Big Easy

After almost  12 hours of travel, the Heritage Science Olympiad team finally arrived on Sunday, Jan. 20 in Ruston, La and left Tuesday, Jan. 22. The last Olympiad Invitational, this time middle school students competed as well, and successfully held their ground. 

Every member of the team placed in the top three at least once in their categories. The middle school team placed first overall, and both high school teams placed first and second place overall respectively.

This is Lauren’s second year on the staff. She enjoys playing Papa’s Sushiria, taking naps and writing whatever’s on her mind. She’s excited to make this year the best one yet and have an awesome entertainment section.
