Junior class president Maximus Callis hosted the Junior Lounge Thursday last week in the Black Box Theater. Callis, Ms. Elizabeth Carbone and Ms. Krisynda Cicos served Chick-fil-a, pizza, Shirley Temples and ice cream.
When students arrived, they lined up for a serving of chicken nuggets or pizza with optional Chick-fil-a sauce alongside a cup of Sprite with cherry syrup and a maraschino cherry inside.

After all the students had received a plate of chicken nuggets or pizza, the students were able to take an ice cream cup with vanilla or chocolate flavor. They could top their desserts with marshmallows, gummy bears, M&M’s, gummy worms, chocolate syrup and caramel syrup.
“My favorite part of the event was the ice cream because it tasted really good,” junior Isabella Torres said.

“I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. It was very good, especially the Shirley Temple,” junior Cameron Caprara said. “I think it’s a great little event, and I think we should do it every year.”
After all was said and done, students took photos with props and paper masks to memorialize the party.
“I had a lot of fun hanging out with my friends. We don’t usually have time set apart … so it was really enjoyable to eat good food and just talk,” junior Elizabeth Perez said.
