The International Ballet Festival of Miami has returned for its 30th season, bringing top ballet artists from across the world to venues across Miami. This year’s lineup features international ballet companies performing anything between modern or contemporary dance ensembles, as well as exhibits, film and documentary screenings, workshops, classes and more weekly through Aug. 17.
Organized by The Miami Hispanic Ballet Company since 1993, the festival has been recognized as “the most successful in the US and the only one of its kind in South Florida,” according to the organization. It offers locals and visitors the opportunity to experience artists coming from closeby—as well as those coming from around the nation and the world; including companies from Europe, Asia and Latin America. Many are making their American debuts at the festival.
A full calendar of events, many of which are free and open to the public, can be found at https://www.internationalballetfestival.org/
