This classic holiday film from 1990 tells the story of a boy who woke up alone in his home after being forgotten by his family. The family proceeded to go on vacation without him and the boy is excited to have the house all to himself. Soon he realizes isolation may not be ideal as he has to fend off two burglars on his own. How The Grinch Stole Christmas (1966):

The 1966 cartoon starts off in a more negative manner starring the Grinch, a man who hates Christmas. Throughout the movie he attempts to “steal” Christmas from the people of Whoville, but he eventually learns the importance of Christmas. This film illustrates the meaning of Christmas going beyond the stereotypes of gifts and trees, but into the importance of family and love. It is a heartwarming film to lift the spirits of family and friends. It is available on streaming services like Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Peacock and more. 

Elf (2003):

This comedy tells the story of a man named Buddy who was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a baby and raised with elfs. In search of his real father he journeys to New York. He successfully finds his father and they attempt to connect with each other resulting in chaos. This film will give a good laugh to friends and family this holiday season. It can be found on streaming services such as Hulu, Max, Youtube Tv and more.

A Christmas Carol (2009):

This remaking of the Charles Dickens classic tale tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a man who is rude to all and dislikes Christmas. Over the course of the movie three spirits take him through Christmas past, present, and future. These adventures teach lessons of joy, forgiveness, and change. Throughout this heartwarming tale you will be touched and enjoy a good laugh. This movie can be found on streaming services such as Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Prime video, Apple TV and more.
