DEI: Angela Udongwo talks diversity within the medical field

The CEO and founder of InnoHealth Diagnostics, which recently developed a microchip diagnostic for schistsomiasis, Angela Udongwo is an accomplished leader and advocate. Udongwo won first place prizes at Emory’s Entrepreneurship Summit, Sling Health’s Demo Day as well as taking home the 2019 InVenture Prize. Angela is currently the President of Aspiring Physician Executives (APEx), and is working to teach physicians to interpret X-rays of Black patients with braids, locks and twists.

Cara, a rising sophomore at American Heritage, is excited to be joining the Patriot Post this year. As a listener, communicator, and constant observer, she often expresses herself through writing. Cara is in Speech and Debate, Model UN, Key Club, and SGA. During her free time, Cara enjoys socializing and loves hanging out with friends at the beach or shopping at the mall.
