Ms. Aleksander currently serves as the Communications Director for Congressman Don Davis. She has a rich background in government administration, particularly in communications. Ms. Aleksander previously worked with the U.S. House Office of Diversity and Inclusion, developing strategic communications strategies. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Management from The George Washington University and earlier worked for the Iowa Secretary of State before working at the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. Cara, a rising sophomore at American Heritage, is excited to be joining the Patriot Post this year. As a listener, communicator, and constant observer, she often expresses herself through writing. Cara is in Speech and Debate, Model UN, Key Club, and SGA. During her free time, Cara enjoys socializing and loves hanging out with friends at the beach or shopping at the mall.
